The New England Patriots have agreed to sign former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a four-year deal worth up to $80 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler. The deal comes as the Patriots prepare to release Stefon Diggs after just one season in New England.

Doubs will step into a significant role for the reigning AFC champions, who were set to return veterans Mack Hollins and Kayshon Boutte as their top receivers. The Patriots' receiving corps also includes DeMario "Pop" Douglas, 2025 third-round pick Kyle Williams, and undrafted free agent Efton Chism III.

Doubs, a fourth-round pick from 2022, led the Packers with 55 catches for 724 yards and six touchdowns last season. His best performance came in a wild-card playoff loss to the Chicago Bears with eight catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. While he's never posted a 1,000-yard season, Doubs has been remarkably consistent with at least 42 catches in each of his four NFL seasons and only one year below 600 receiving yards.
