New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers, 22, is not expected to begin training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, a source told ESPN. The move follows a serious knee injury last season and a second surgery early this year to remove scar tissue. Giants head coach John Harbaugh said there is optimism about Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo, both of whom suffered season‑ending injuries in 2025.

While Nabers has been rehabbing at the Giants’ facility, he will be brought in slowly, and being off the PUP list does not guarantee immediate practice. The team announced that defensive lineman Roy Robertson‑Harris (Achilles), Sam Roberts, and tight end Thomas Fidone II (foot) were also placed on the PUP list before camp. Veterans will report Tuesday, and the Giants will head to West Virginia to start training camp later that day.

With the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys at Met Life Stadium in seven weeks, the Giants hope Nabers will be ready to contribute. His record‑breaking rookie season in 2024 saw 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns, placing him second in receptions through the first 19 games of a career.
