The Houston Texans have agreed to a contract with free agent tight end Foster Moreau, according to NFL Network. The 28-year-old joins Houston to add depth behind starter Dalton Schultz, providing veteran experience to the tight end room.

Moreau played 11 games for the New Orleans Saints in 2025 after recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him to start the season. He caught seven passes for 59 yards before missing the final two games with an ankle injury. The Saints recently added veteran Noah Fant during free agency.

Moreau spent three seasons in New Orleans after signing as a free agent in 2023, following his first four years with the Raiders. The LSU product tied his career-high with five receiving touchdowns in 2024 before his knee injury. He briefly stepped away from football in spring 2023 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma but announced his cancer was in full remission by July 2023. Over seven seasons, Moreau has appeared in 104 games with 151 receptions for 1,722 yards and 18 touchdowns.
