The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with wide receiver Hollywood Brown on a one-year contract worth up to $6.5 million, according to league sources. The 28-year-old speed receiver joins the Eagles after spending the past two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he served primarily as their third option behind DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown.

Brown is expected to fill the role previously held by Jahan Dotson, who departed for the Atlanta Falcons in free agency. The Maryland product brings a more accomplished résumé to Philadelphia, including a 1,000-yard season in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens. Last season with the Chiefs, he caught 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns despite missing most of the preseason with a sternoclavicular injury.

Brown's addition provides the Eagles with a deep-threat option who has accumulated 371 receptions for 4,322 yards and 33 touchdowns over his seven-year career. His signing could prove particularly valuable if A.J. Brown, who has been the subject of trade discussions, is eventually dealt. The move signals Philadelphia's intent to maintain offensive firepower while potentially reshaping their receiving corps.
