Two remaining sexual misconduct lawsuits against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson were dismissed Friday, according to court records, after settlements were reached. The cases were dismissed with prejudice, preventing refiling, with one trial scheduled for February 18 and another for March 30.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represented most of the women who filed lawsuits against Watson, confirmed a settlement was reached but declined to provide specifics. The attorney for the one woman not represented by Buzbee also did not immediately comment, though court records show her case was dismissed upon plaintiff request.

Watson, 30, faced 27 lawsuits alleging misconduct during massage sessions while with the Houston Texans since March 2021. He served an 11-game suspension in 2022 after two Texas grand juries declined to pursue criminal charges. The NFL and NFLPA reached a settlement in his disciplinary matter, requiring a $5 million fine and mandatory behavioral evaluation before league reinstatement.

Quick Fact: Watson tore his right Achilles in October 2024 and did not play during the 2025 season.
