The Buffalo Bills have unveiled renderings of their massive bison statues destined for the new Highmark Stadium. The stainless steel installation will feature three bison—a bull (24x29 feet), cow (19x23 feet), and calf (9x13 feet)—designed to welcome fans to the Family Circle area when the stadium opens for the 2026 season.

Artist Blessing Hancock was selected from 144 applicants to create the sculptures, which incorporate the team's charging logo elements. The statues, currently being constructed in Pennsylvania, will feature lighting elements and mist from their snouts. Designers spent considerable time ensuring proper bison anatomy while maintaining artistic vision.

The Family Circle will extend beyond the statues, including historical placards, native plants, and dedications to the team's wall of honor. The area forms a bison hoof print shape and is part of the roughly $2.1 billion stadium project. Despite the attention on the statues, designers note dozens of other culturally significant elements await discovery by fans visiting the venue.
