The Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with quarterback Kyle Allen worth $4.1 million, potentially reaching $6.1 million with incentives. Allen will reunite with close friend Josh Allen in Buffalo, having previously served as his backup in 2023. The signing comes after Mitchell Trubisky agreed to a two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans earlier Monday.

Kyle Allen brings experience to the Bills after backing up Jared Goff in Detroit last season and spending 2024 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his career, Allen has appeared in 34 games with 19 starts. Josh Allen has maintained remarkable durability, starting 122 consecutive games since his rookie season—the longest active start streak among quarterbacks.

The Bills' quarterback room now features Allen and re-signed Shane Buechele on one-year deals. Buffalo prioritized securing a reliable backup given Josh Allen's importance to their offensive success. Allen's familiarity with the system and relationship with Josh Allen could provide seamless transition if called upon during the upcoming season.
