Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson says Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium could be a "culture changer" for a team trying to reshape its season. Atlanta (3-5) seeks in-season momentum following last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Robinson acknowledges he hasn't played up to his capability this year, having gone without a touchdown since a 59-yard run against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 5.
Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. looks to bounce back from a four-interception outing against Tampa Bay. Under first-year coach Kevin Stefanski, Atlanta is aiming for its first playoff appearance since 2017. Stefanski, familiar with the Bengals from six seasons with the Cleveland Browns, warns that facing Joe Burrow and this offense requires total preparation.
The Falcons have lost three of their last four games. Sunday's contest at the historic Bernabeu Stadium is framed as a pivotal moment for both the team's trajectory and Robinson's personal production.
