Free agent safety Alohi Gilman has agreed to a three-year, $24.75 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The deal includes $15 million guaranteed for the 28-year-old defensive back who proved his value during his time with the Baltimore Ravens.

Gilman joined Baltimore in early October after being acquired from the Los Angeles Chargers. His presence helped stabilize the Ravens' defense, with teams averaging just 18.4 points against them after his arrival. Baltimore moved him to deep safety, allowing star safety Kyle Hamilton to play closer to the line of scrimmage.

The Hawaii native made his biggest impact in a December game against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he returned an 84-yard interception for a touchdown in a 24-0 victory. Known for his ability to diagnose pass plays, Gilman finished as Baltimore's sixth-leading tackler with 68 stops, though he occasionally struggled to wrap up ball carriers.
