The Indianapolis Colts are set to induct legendary kicker Adam Vinatieri into their Ring of Honor on October 18. This recognition comes shortly before Vinatieri's enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month, celebrating a career that saw him become one of the NFL's most clutch performers.

During his 24-year career, split between the New England Patriots and the Colts, Vinatieri made some of the most significant kicks in league history, including game-winners in Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII. His tenure with the Colts, beginning in 2006, also included a stellar performance in their Super Bowl XLI victory, where he made 14 field goals throughout the postseason.

Vinatieri holds NFL records for career points (2,673) and field goals made (599). He also established an NFL-best streak of 44 consecutive field goals from 2015-2016. His induction into the Colts' Ring of Honor will mark the 21st individual to receive the distinction.
