Victor Wembanyama is set to launch a signature sneaker line with Nike following an extension of his endorsement deal, sources informed ESPN's Shams Charania.

Details of the new pact, described as "long term," were not disclosed. Wembanyama's prior Nike agreement was slated to end in October. This development follows his recent signing of a five-year, $252 million maximum rookie-scale contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs.

Wembanyama, who also serves as an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, recently achieved significant accolades. He was the youngest player to win NBA Defensive Player of the Year, earning the honor unanimously, and led the league in blocks. He was also named an All-NBA first-teamer and a starter for his second All-Star appearance. In his third NBA season, Wembanyama averaged career highs of 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds, alongside 3.1 assists, and led the league with 3.08 blocks per game.
