The Dallas Mavericks have officially completed a massive six-team trade by signing European prospect Tarik Biberovic. This move brings Santi Aldama and Marcus Sasser to Dallas, concluding a complex series of transactions that began earlier in the year.

Biberovic, a 25-year-old forward from Bosnia and Herzegovina, spent the last eight years playing professionally in Turkey and was originally a 2023 second-round pick by Memphis. Aldama, a 7-foot-1 center, arrives from the Grizzlies after averaging 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds over five seasons. Sasser, a Dallas native, joins from Detroit, where he averaged 7.0 points and 2.7 assists in 166 games.

The trade also involved significant player movement, including Khris Middleton going to Washington and Anthony Davis being traded to the Wizards earlier in February. The Mavericks sent guard AJ Johnson, a protected 2030 first-round pick, and a 2029 second-round pick to Memphis to acquire Aldama and Biberovic's rights. This series of moves signals a significant reshaping of the Mavericks' roster.
