The New York Knicks are trimming their roster ahead of Tuesday's regular-season opener, waiving guard Bruce Brown and fellow big men Tony Bradley, Ochai Agbaji and Drew Eubanks. James Wiseman, who impressed with 18 points and 10 rebounds in preseason, stays on the $3.2 million under‑cap roster. Wiseman, 25, will bolster the Knicks' center rotation alongside Karl‑Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond, filling the void left by Mitchell Robinson's departure to Boston.
The moves keep the team just under its self‑imposed hard cap, positioning the team for the season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers.
