The New York Knicks completed a four-game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers and punched their tickets to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. At the Radio City Music Hall watch party, the DJ played Prince's '1999' as fans poured into Manhattan streets chanting 'We want Wemby!' The Knicks have outscored Atlanta, Philadelphia and Cleveland by a combined 262 points during their playoff run, the largest margin in any 11-game span in NBA history.

A year ago the Knicks were coming off a 17-65 season and a losing record for seven straight years. Tonight the same franchise celebrated a historic turnaround. Longtime fan Anthony Mills said Jalen Brunson, who has led the charge, would earn a place among New York's most fabled champions if he wins it all, comparing him to Joe Namath for the audacity of his play.

Celebrity fans including rapper Fat Joe joined the trip to Cleveland, posting 'We're taking everything!' from the court. The Knicks will face either Oklahoma City or San Antonio, but the city is buzzing with the kind of confidence that comes after 27 years of waiting.
