Coby White is set to make his Charlotte Hornets debut Tuesday night against his former Chicago Bulls team at the United Center. The Hornets announced that White, acquired in a February 4 trade, has been upgraded to available after recovering from a left calf strain that sidelined him since the deal.

White spent 6½ seasons with the Bulls before the trade and brings impressive credentials to Charlotte. This season, he averaged 18.6 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 29 games for Chicago while shooting 34.6% from three-point range. His last NBA appearance came for the Bulls on February 3.

The backup point guard is expected to come off the bench behind LaMelo Ball, who recently exploded for 37 points and a career-high 10 three-pointers in Monday's win over the Wizards. White's return adds depth to Charlotte's backcourt as the Hornets push toward the season's final stretch.
