Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden sustained a non-displaced fracture in his right thumb during Tuesday night's game against the New York Knicks, the team announced Wednesday. X-rays taken after the game revealed the injury, which occurred during the Cavaliers' matchup with the Knicks.

Harden is currently listed as questionable for Wednesday night's home game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The team said he will undergo treatment and further evaluation before a decision is made on his availability. This injury comes just three weeks after Harden was traded from the LA Clippers to Cleveland on February 3.

In seven games with the Cavaliers, Harden has averaged 18.9 points, eight rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. Prior to the trade, he posted 25.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in 44 appearances with the Clippers this season. The Cavaliers will need to adjust their rotation if Harden cannot play against the Bucks, potentially impacting their positioning as they push toward the playoffs.
