Former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro were involved in a physical altercation in Las Vegas on Friday. Sources told ESPN's Shams Charania that Adebayo struck Herro in the head during the incident, which occurred on a practice court. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from Herro's social media comments criticizing Adebayo's defensive effort following Herro's trade to Milwaukee.

Herro, traded to the Bucks in a deal involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, was courtside for the Heat's summer league game against Milwaukee. He commented on his departure from Miami, stating, "It's all love in Miami" and that it was an "opportunity for both sides to reset." He did not comment on the altercation with Adebayo after the game.

Screenshots of an Instagram direct message allegedly showed Herro questioning Adebayo's defensive effort, particularly in relation to his $166 million contract extension signed in June 2024. Adebayo's deal with Miami reportedly pays him $60 million annually. Both the Heat and the Bucks declined to comment on the incident.
