Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber will participate in the Home Run Derby on Monday night in Philadelphia. He joins teammate Bryce Harper, giving the home crowd two representatives in the eight-man field.

Schwarber, 33, enters the competition as the major league leader with 32 home runs on the season. Since 2022, he has hit 219 home runs, second only to Aaron Judge's 227. This marks Schwarber's third appearance in the derby; he reached the finals in 2018 and competed in 2022.

The addition of Schwarber and Harper provides significant power for the home team at Citizens Bank Park. Their participation offers fans a chance to see two of baseball's top power hitters compete head-to-head in a marquee event.
