Reynaldo Lopez and Jorge Soler were ejected after benches cleared following a heated exchange Tuesday night. Soler charged the mound after Lopez threw a pitch high and inside that tipped off Jonah Heim's glove in the fifth inning. Both players threw punches as benches and bullpens emptied with Braves manager Walt Weiss tackling Soler to prevent further escalation.

The incident occurred just after Soler homered off Lopez in his first at-bat and was hit by a 96 mph fastball in his second. Soler, who has historically dominated Lopez with 14-for-23 including five homers, believed the pitch was intentional. "After the home run and getting hit by a pitch after that, and then he missed way too high and close to my head," Soler said through an interpreter.

The Braves led 4-2 when the brawl occurred and went on to win 7-2. Lopez pitched 4⅔ innings allowing two runs while Soler finished with a home run and two RBIs. Both managers commented on the incident with Weiss stating there was no intent to hit Soler while Suzuki understanding his reaction. "You get thrown at your head, you have a family, your career, it's dangerous," Suzuki added.
