Lottie Woad clinched the Kroger Queen City Championship on Sunday at Maketewah Country Club, edging Haeran Ryu by two strokes. The 22‑year‑old posted a 1‑under 69 to finish at 12‑under 268, three shots ahead of playing partner Amanda Doherty. A gusty afternoon tested every contender.

Ryu rallied early, carding a 5‑under 30 on the front nine before a double‑bogey at the par‑4 13th halted her momentum. She closed with a 67, leaving her at 10‑under. A 20‑foot birdie on the 17th gave Woad the decisive two‑stroke edge overall in the tournament.

Veteran Nelly Korda shot a 67 to tie for eighth at five under, a modest rebound after starting nine strokes back with a third‑round 72. Meanwhile Miyu Yamashita surged to third with a 64, while Jin Young Ko lingered at seven under, keeping the leaderboard tight throughout Sunday.

Woad’s victory marks her second LPGA title, following a debut win at the Women’s Scottish Open and an Irish Open triumph as an amateur. The win cements her rising status on tour and adds valuable points as the season approaches the final stretch of major championships.
