No. 2 UCLA surged past top-ranked UConn in the AP women's basketball poll after capturing back-to-back Big Ten titles with a 96-45 rout of No. 9 Iowa. The Bruins received three first-place votes from the national media panel, breaking UConn's eight-week streak as unanimous No. 1. UConn still holds 28 first-place votes and remains undefeated.

Texas climbed to No. 3 after defeating South Carolina in the SEC tournament championship, while LSU and Vanderbilt swapped positions at fifth and sixth. Iowa rose to seventh despite the loss, and Duke jumped five spots to eighth after winning the ACC title in overtime against Louisville. Michigan and Oklahoma round out the top 10.

Notre Dame reentered the rankings at No. 22 after reaching the ACC tournament semifinals, replacing Fairfield. The SEC dominates with eight teams in the Top 25, followed by the Big Ten with seven. Princeton stands as the only other Top 25 team playing this week in the Ivy League tournament.
