Electrolux is shutting down its Jaszbereny factory in Hungary, affecting roughly 600 workers. The Swedish appliance maker will book a restructuring charge of about $65 million as it winds down production of built-in and freestanding refrigeration products at the site by the end of 2026.

The closure follows a strategic review aimed at strengthening cost competitiveness and improving agility through production footprint optimization.
