Star guard Tahaad Pettiford is reportedly returning to the Auburn Tigers for his junior season, sources confirmed to ESPN. Speculation had swirled regarding whether the New Jersey native would enter the transfer portal or test the NBA draft again after his sophomore campaign.

Pettiford was electric as a freshman, helping power Auburn to the Final Four as a premier sixth man. Though his efficiency dipped in a starting role this past year, he still averaged 15.4 points and 3.8 assists, showing up big in key moments against teams like Arizona and Tennessee.
