Top-ranked Jannik Sinner advanced to his second consecutive Wimbledon final, defeating defending champion Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals. Sinner has not dropped a set since the first round, winning 17 consecutive sets in a dominant run through the tournament. This victory marks the third time Sinner has beaten Djokovic in straight sets at a major, a feat previously achieved only by Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer against the seven-time champion.

Djokovic, 39, has now been eliminated at Wimbledon by either Sinner or Carlos Alcaraz in each of the last four years. The Serbian star's record against Sinner and Alcaraz in that span is 1-4, while he is 20-0 against all other opponents. Sinner's aggressive strategy, including strong serving and varied returns, proved effective against Djokovic's elite returning ability.

Sinner will face Alexander Zverev in the final. Zverev, the French Open champion, trails Sinner 4-10 in their head-to-head record and has lost their last nine matches. Sinner also has the opportunity to secure his 100th career major match win in the final, a milestone previously reached by only a few Open Era players in Grand Slam finals.
