Rickea Jackson left the court and did not return during Chicago's 86-79 win over the Minnesota Lynx after suffering a left knee injury with 5:24 remaining in the second quarter. The 6-foot-2 forward crumbled after awkwardly planting her left leg while driving to the basket and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Jackson, the No. 4 pick out of Tennessee in 2024, has been Chicago's leading scorer at 22 points per game this season after arriving via trade from the Los Angeles Sparks, where she averaged 14.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 2025. Her exit raises immediate concerns for a Sky team already thin on healthy bodies.

The injury compounds a brutal stretch for Chicago. Azura Stevens, DiJonai Carrington, Courtney Vandersloot and Skylar Diggins have all missed time with various ailments. The Sky sit at 3-1 heading into Wednesday's home opener against the Dallas Wings, but losing their top scorer so early in the game stings.
