New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye made headlines Tuesday by shaving his head at the 13th annual 'Saving by Shaving' charity event in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 23-year-old quarterback participated in the fundraiser benefiting Boston Children's Hospital, where his wife Ann Michael provided the initial buzz for his new look.

The event, hosted by Granite Telecommunications, raised more than $4 million for the hospital. Maye, entering his third NFL season, has been increasing his philanthropic efforts, recently announcing the formation of the MayeDaye Foundation. The foundation will focus on serving children and families in need across New England and his native North Carolina.

Maye's charitable work includes a softball game scheduled for May 31 at Polar Park in Worcester, Massachusetts. The quarterback emphasized the importance of giving back, noting that his wife's involvement makes the experience even more meaningful as they work together to support children and families in need.
