Mizrachi's $10M WSOP Win Sparks Record-Breaking Poker Run

Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi pulled off poker's most improbable double in July 2025, capturing both the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for a fourth time and then the $10,000 WSOP main event for a career-defining $10 million prize. The back-to-back victories capped a 21-year career that already included eight WSOP bracelets and two World Poker Tour titles.

The celebration was immediate and historic. Poker legends including Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey interrupted the final table ceremony to induct Mizrachi into the Poker Hall of Fame on the spot, skipping the normal nomination process entirely. He became just the 63rd member of the exclusive club.

Since that moment, Mizrachi has lived like a wandering nomad, traveling to Cyprus, the Bahamas, Panama, Czechia, England, Israel, Australia, and Colombia while fulfilling ambassador duties at The Venetian. His 21-year-old son Paul joined the traveling party, helping manage social media and strengthening their bond after years of limited contact due to Mizrachi's career demands.

Daniel Negreanu argues the wins finally earned Mizrachi proper recognition, calling him under-appreciated despite his $17 million in prior lifetime earnings. At 45, Mizrachi returns to the 2025 WSOP unchanged by fortune, carrying the same mindset that made him a champion.
