The Minnesota Gophers face a significant offseason after losing their top scorers, including Mikayla Blakes (11.3 PPG) and Sophie Hart (11.1 PPG), to graduation. Blakes' 27.0 PPG leaves a void the team hopes to fill with Natalie Kussow (No. 40), a Wisconsin Ms. Basketball winner. While Kussow offers scoring, the Gophers need more size, particularly a veteran interior presence, as Finau Tonga's departure creates a gap. Coach Dawn Plitzuweit will likely rely heavily on the transfer portal for rebounding help, as Hart was their primary inside anchor in the ACC.

North Carolina's season ended with the loss of leading scorer Nyla Harris (11.5 PPG), whose rebounding was crucial. Harpring (No. 4) is the Tar Heels' top incoming recruit, a 3,000-point career scorer who could become their first star since Harris. However, if Harris doesn't return, Banghart must find a veteran forward to upgrade the team's rebounding, currently ranked 10th in the ACC. The deep backcourt of Lanie Grant, Elina Aarnisalo, and Ciera Toomey provides stability, but a spot-up shooter might be the next priority.

Vanderbilt's offense thrived around Mikayla Blakes, whose playmaking and scoring (27.0 PPG) were central. Olivia Jones (No. 14), a driver and shot creator, is their key recruit. The Commodores need a mobile big to run the high pick-and-roll and spread the floor further, as Sacha Washington's departure leaves a gap. A shooter to complement Galvan's playmaking is also desired, with the humble superstar Blakes and talented Galvan expected to attract quality portal additions.
