Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride set a new WNBA single-game record by making 10 three-pointers in a 103-90 victory over the Dallas Wings on Sunday. The five-time All-Star finished with a career-high 43 points, going 10-of-14 from beyond the arc. The record-breaking shot came with 2:23 remaining, giving the Lynx a 98-83 lead.

McBride, playing in front of a home crowd at Target Center, was carried off the court to a standing ovation. She credited the supportive environment in Minneapolis, where she has played for 5½ seasons, for helping her reach new heights. The previous record of nine 3-pointers had been achieved eight times, including twice this season by Toronto's Marina Mabrey.

McBride's performance also helped the Lynx set a franchise single-game 3-point record, going 18-of-39 from deep. The Lynx improved to 27-7, winning for the 12th time in 13 games, and became the first team to clinch a playoff berth. Her 43 points rank as the third-most in franchise history.

McBride shot a perfect 7-of-7 on contested field goals and 8-of-9 off passes from rookie Olivia Miles, who contributed 13 assists.
