Kurt Busch, the 2004 Cup Series champion, was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Friday night. The 47-year-old was joined by drivers Harry Gant and Ray Hendrick, with promoter H.A. Wheeler receiving the Landmark Award. Busch's younger brother Kyle presented him, highlighting his resilience and career.

In his emotional speech, Busch honored his late Roush Racing teammate Greg Biffle, who died in a plane crash last December. He credited Biffle for helping him win his championship, which was the first contested under the 10-race Chase format. Busch won 34 Cup races and retired in 2023 after a concussion.

Gant, 86, raced late into his career, earning 18 Cup victories. Hendrick, known as "Mr. Modified," accumulated over 700 wins in modified racing. The ceremony also recognized Roush with a second Bill France Award, cementing his legacy as a team owner and innovator.
