Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand secured her fourth LPGA Tour victory of the season at the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii. Despite a late double bogey on the 16th hole at Hoakalei Country Club, she recovered with a 20-foot birdie putt on the 17th and closed with a birdie on the 18th. Thitikul finished with a 4-under 68 for a 21-under 267 total, defeating playing partner Ina Yoon by three strokes.
The second-ranked Thitikul matched top-ranked Nelly Korda for the most tour wins this season. Yoon also shot 68, while Miyu Yamashita of Japan finished third at 17 under. American Auston Kim placed at 16 under after a wild back nine.
Thitikul moved within one victory of tying Ariya Jutanugarn as the winningest LPGA Tour player from Thailand. The tour now heads to Asia for four tournaments, starting with the Buick LPGA Shanghai on Oct. 15-18.
