Georgia pulled off a stunning 76-74 upset over No. 5 Vanderbilt on Sunday, with Dani Carnegie scoring a game-high 29 points. The Lady Bulldogs (20-6, 6-6 SEC) held on in the final seconds when Sacha Washington's floater fell short for Vanderbilt (24-3, 10-3).

Carnegie's 18 first-half points helped Georgia build a 14-point lead, but Vanderbilt responded with a 16-3 run to close the half. The Commodores led by five in the fourth quarter before Mia Woolfolk's 11-point surge helped the Bulldogs regain control. Trinity Turner's jumper with 50 seconds left gave Georgia the lead they wouldn't relinquish.

Mikayla Blakes led Vanderbilt with 27 points, but the loss snapped their five-game winning streak and dropped them two games behind No. 3 South Carolina in the SEC race. The upset came just 24 hours after Vanderbilt was announced as a projected No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Georgia now faces another ranked opponent when they host No. 10 Oklahoma on Thursday.
