Flavor Flav, known for his music and reality TV, is now a prominent advocate for women's sports. His latest initiative, SHE (Sports, Hospitality and Entertainment) Weekend, will take place in Las Vegas from July 16-19, honoring elite women athletes who have represented Team USA at the Olympics.

The event will feature over 100 athletes, including members of the women's hockey and bobsled/skeleton teams, with a series of public and private events, dinners, shows, and community moments. The celebration kicks off with a parade on the Las Vegas Strip and a free concert headlined by Public Enemy and Sheila E.

Flavor Flav's dedication began when he learned Olympic athletes sometimes struggle financially. He initially sponsored water polo captain Maggie Steffens and her team, then extended his support to the U.S. Olympic Bobsled/Skeleton Team. The SHE Weekend concept gained momentum after a viral social media post inviting the women's hockey team to Las Vegas, leading to a collaborative effort with Robyn Glaser and support from numerous partners and the city of Las Vegas. Flav hopes SHE Weekend will become an annual event to recognize and encourage women athletes.
