The WNBA has rescinded Caitlin Clark's eighth technical foul of the season, meaning the Indiana Fever star will not receive a one-game suspension. Clark was assessed the technical foul Saturday in a game against Chicago after she made contact with a referee in the third quarter when she was forced out of bounds.\n\nThe Fever said after their 90-86 win over the Sky that they had appealed the technical with the league. Clark said the contact was inadvertent and that no words were exchanged. "She said I ran into her," Clark said of the referee. "I have already watched it on the tape.

So, we'll let the league decide. But it wasn't anything intentional or anything ... and nothing was said."\n\nFever coach Stephanie White criticized the call, saying, "That's a bad call -- incidental contact when you're flying out of control. Officials have to have some awareness in those moments, and it didn't happen." The Fever's next game is Tuesday against New York.
