Casey Jarvis claimed victory at the South African Open with a 3-under 67 final round, securing his place in both the Masters and Open Championship. The South African golfer birdied three of his first five holes Sunday at Stellenbosch Golf Club, finishing at 14-under 266 for a three-shot win over Francesco Laporta, Frederic LaCroix, and Hennie Du Plessis.

This marks Jarvis' second consecutive DP World Tour victory after winning the Kenya Open last week. The timing proved perfect as the Masters offered its first-ever invitation to the South African Open champion. Jarvis, who has played only one major at the 2024 U.S. Open, moves into the world top 100 and could receive an invitation to the PGA Championship in May.

The victory also secured Open Championship spots for Laporta and LaCroix, who finished tied for second. Du Plessis bogeyed the final hole, costing him a place at Royal Birkdale. Former Masters champion Patrick Reed shot 68 in the final round to tie for 29th, maintaining his lead in the Race to Dubai.
