England's Dan Bradbury claimed the Joburg Open title after a dramatic final round in South Africa, denying South African Casey Jarvis a chance to match a DP World Tour record. Jarvis, who had won the previous two DP World Tour events, entered the final day two strokes behind but surged into the lead with two holes remaining. Bradbury's victory marked his third DP World Tour win.

Jarvis, aiming to join Sir Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros as the only players to win three consecutive DP World Tour events, bogeyed the penultimate hole to fall short of a historic home victory. The South African finished tied for second with England's Brandon Robinson Thompson, both at 16 under par. Bradbury, who also started two strokes off the lead, mounted a comeback with three consecutive birdies around the turn.

Hennie du Plessis, the overnight leader, dropped four shots in a five-hole stretch to finish third, while Bradbury sealed his victory with a brilliant up-and-down from just off the 18th green. The DP World Tour now takes a week off before heading to China for the Hainan Classic at Mission Hills Resort Haikou.
