Raptors Honor Lowry

The Toronto Raptors will retire Kyle Lowry’s No. 7 jersey on Jan. 10, when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. Lowry, the franchise’s all-time leader in assists and a 2019 championship cornerstone, joins Vince Carter as the only players in team history to receive the honor.

The Golden State Warriors have signed Georges Niang to a one-year, $3.9 million deal, filling the final spot on their 15-man roster. Meanwhile, Jonathan Kuminga is heading to Minnesota on a two-year, $12.4 million contract that includes a player option, with the Timberwolves pitching him a prominent role. The Pelicans also added scoring punch, agreeing with Bennedict Mathurin on a two-year, $16 million deal featuring a player option.
