Lakers Ownership Battle

Jeanie Buss has asked a court to block her five siblings' vote to sell the family's remaining shares in the Lakers, filing a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court challenging the legality of the move. Meanwhile, her brothers are elsewhere: the Buss brothers' new firm will join the Padres ownership group after selling the Lakers.

Roster Moves & Signings

The Pelicans have agreed to terms with Bennedict Mathurin on a two-year, $16 million deal that includes a player option, sources told ESPN. The Warriors are adding Georges Niang on a one-year, $3.9 million contract, completing their 15-man roster. Jonathan Kuminga has inked a deal with Minnesota for two years and $12.4 million, also featuring a player option, with the Wolves pitching him on a featured role.
