TDR Capital-backed Lyceum Education Group has acquired Aspiration Training, a UK-based apprenticeship and vocational training provider. Founded in 2002, Aspiration Training serves learners across England and Wales in the dental, early years, adult care and education sectors. Its programs range from entry-level qualifications to management-level courses, delivered through online learning, workplace training and dedicated tutor support.
The acquisition gives Aspiration Training access to Lyceum's employer network, educational expertise and portfolio of professional and higher education programs in the UK and overseas. The deal aims to create progression routes for learners from vocational and apprenticeship pathways to higher-level professional and management education.
Aspiration Training plans to use the backing to accelerate growth and continue investing in teaching quality, learner support, technology and customer experience. According to Lyceum, Aspiration's expertise in dental, early years and adult care apprenticeships complements its existing strengths in healthcare, nursing, professional education and apprenticeships.
