Financial terms not disclosed.
Matheson serves industrial and public sector customers across the Western US. Its services help maintain, repair and protect critical infrastructure and facilities that operate in demanding, regulated environments. The company has two operating divisions: Matheson Painting and Extreme Coatings.
"In addition to a nearly 15-year relationship with Granite Creek, the firm's prior experience with service-driven, infrastructure-focused businesses made them the right partner for this transaction," said Brady Dolsen, a principal at Columbia Basin.
Granite Creek, founded in 2005, provides growth capital to lower mid-market companies across manufacturing, business services, healthcare, agribusiness and aerospace and defense. Columbia Basin, founded in 2010, partners with management teams to acquire and grow lower mid-market businesses.
