Apple TV has unveiled the trailer for Nocturne, a new thriller series based on the bestselling crime novel "The Sandman" by Lars Kepler. The series premieres October 30 with two episodes, followed by weekly releases through December 25. The show stars Liev Schreiber as homicide detective Jonah Lynn, who moves to a small town in Western Pennsylvania seeking a quiet life, only to face the diabolically cunning serial killer Jurek Walter, played by Stephen Graham.

Zazie Beetz stars as FBI Agent Saga Bauer. Two weeks prior, "12 12 12" premieres, starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan in a heist drama. Looking ahead, Apple plans to launch The Wanted Man in 2027, starring Hugh Laurie as an organized crime boss.
