London-based European Technology Network (ETN), founded by Luke Knight and Ronan Chambers, is expanding from a two-day to a five-day live show starting June 27. The network announced a $1.6 million seed round from Powerhouse Capital, Axel Springer SE, Lad Bible, and angels from OpenAI and DeepMind. ETN will move into a Kings Cross studio, grow its eight-person team, and launch a newsletter.

The show has become a key press stop for European startups, hosting founders from Synthesia, Granola, and Legora, plus UK AI Minister Kanishka Narayan and investors from Andreessen Horowitz. Upcoming guests include Sequoia partner George Robson and former PM Rishi Sunak. London startups have raised $14.7 billion this year, with six companies exceeding $500 million rounds.

ETN draws 70 guest pitches weekly and monetizes via ads and sponsors like Polymarket, Base, and Eleven Labs. Inspired by TBPN (sold to OpenAI for a nine-figure sum), Chambers says ETN aims to match the pace of Europe's accelerating tech scene. The three-hour daily format includes news breakdowns, interviews, debates, and Shark Tank-style pitches.

Broadcasting from conferences in Athens and Paris, ETN covers the continent while welcoming global founders. Knight and Chambers view themselves as tech insiders complementing traditional media, hoping to inspire the next generation to build startups rather than pursue banking.
