Luke Knight and Ronan Chambers quietly raised $1.6m in dejó seed funding, backed by Axel Springer and Powerhouse Capital, to launch ET N as Europe’s answer to US tech media TBPN. The London‑based founders now run five live shows a week, a jump from two, after a brief off‑air pause.

The round enabled the construction of a state‑of‑the‑art studio near King’s Cross and the hiring of former Bloomberg chief of staff Alexandra Best, a Tottenham Hotspur video production head and four ex‑TBPN staffers. Two internship posts drew over 300 applicants in two days, yet Chambers says the lean team will stay small, powered heavily by AI.

ET N’s daily format keeps pace with the continent’s booming startup ecosystem, which has already raised €13.4bn this year. The show now hosts founders of Synthesia, Granola and Legora, and guests like UK AI minister Kanishka Narayan, Formula One champion Nico Rosberg and former PM Rishi Sunak.

The mission is not to replace traditional journalism but to layer a fast‑moving, AI‑driven conversation atop it, giving Europe a platform to discuss AI and tech faster than ever.
