Private equity giants TPG, Bain Capital, Brookfield Asset Management, and Advent International are in advanced talks with OpenAI to create a new enterprise AI venture valued at approximately $10 billion. Reuters reports the firms would collectively invest around $4 billion, with TPG expected to act as the anchor investor committing the largest portion. Advent, Bain, and Brookfield would also participate as co-founding investors, securing board seats in the venture.
