Actis has acquired a 90% stake in Singapore-based environmental services company 800 Super through its Long Life Infrastructure Fund 2. The deal marks a significant expansion of Actis' footprint in Southeast Asia, bringing the fund's deployment to approximately 70% and pushing the firm's total capital deployment in the region to $1.7 billion. 800 Super specializes in waste management, recycling, and public cleaning services.

The company derives most of its revenue from long-term government contracts, providing a stable infrastructure profile in Singapore's circular economy strategy. As one of only three licensed municipal waste and cleaning service providers in Singapore, 800 Super plays a crucial role in the country's environmental management. The acquisition aligns with Actis' strategy of targeting critical infrastructure assets with predictable cash flows.

Adrian Mucalov, Head of Long Life Infrastructure at Actis, described the acquisition as an exciting contribution to their portfolio of sustainable infrastructure companies. The firm has deployed capital across energy, digital infrastructure, and real estate in Southeast Asia, capitalizing on urbanization and sustainability trends. The partnership with founder and CEO William Lee is expected to drive operational optimization and business expansion.
