West Star Aviation, backed by Greenbriar Equity Group, has acquired DCJet, a Sterling, Virginia-based aircraft maintenance provider. DCJet operates from five locations including Dulles International Airport, Chicago Midway International Airport, and Orlando International Airport. The deal expands West Star's maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for business aviation across key US markets.

Joe Ortiz, DCJet's president and founder, will continue leading the business as part of West Star's expanded network. The acquisition adds DCJet's specialized maintenance capabilities to West Star's existing operations, creating a larger platform for business aviation services. DCJet's team will maintain its focus on customer service and operational excellence under the new ownership structure.

The transaction strengthens West Star's position in the competitive business aviation maintenance sector. By combining DCJet's established airport locations with West Star's existing infrastructure, the merged entity gains enhanced geographic coverage and service capacity. This strategic move demonstrates continued consolidation in the aircraft maintenance industry as companies seek to scale operations and broaden their service offerings.
