Warburg Pincus Appoints Philip Nolan as Head of US Wealth

Warburg Pincus has appointed Philip Nolan as managing director and head of US wealth within its fundraising and investor relations group. Nolan will lead efforts to deepen existing investor relationships and build new partnerships across the US wealth market. He spent 15 years at Neuberger Berman, most recently as managing director and head of national accounts, where he managed relationships with the firm’s largest wealth platform partners.

Nolan began his career at Alliance Bernstein and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University. Warburg Pincus, founded in 1966, manages over $105 billion in assets across more than 45 countries and has invested over $135 billion across 25 funds since inception, backing more than 1,100 companies worldwide. Eddie Huang, managing director and global head of fundraising and investor relations at Warburg Pincus, praised Nolan’s background in building teams that partner with large wealth platforms, noting his understanding of advisor and client needs.

The appointment strengthens Warburg Pincus’s focus on expanding its presence in the US wealth management sector.
