Verdane announced a majority investment in Factbird, a Danish IoT and recurring software company delivering manufacturing intelligence. Existing investors Expedition Growth Capital and EIFO are reinvesting alongside Verdane.

Factbird’s hardware‑enabled software helps industrial businesses improve productivity, reduce downtime, and make more informed operational decisions by gathering, managing, analyzing, and acting on production data. Over 300 customers, many blue‑chip firms, rely on its solutions.

Verdane will support Factbird’s next growth phase, working closely with management to expand product offering, broaden market presence, and deliver value globally. “Factbird has developed a unique offering that addresses a clear need among manufacturers seeking greater visibility and control over their operations and in turn provides a very significant return on investment,” said Morten Weicher, partner at Verdane.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
