Medadom, a French teleconsultation provider accredited by the Ministry of Health, has secured a significant investment from Verdane and Bpifrance, marking the private equity firm's first deal in France. Founded in 2017, the company operates 5,500 physical units in pharmacies and optical stores, facilitating over 9 million teleconsultations. The funding aims to expand Medadom's services across Europe and into new healthcare verticals, strengthening its governance and technology platform. Medadom founders Eliedan Mimouni and Nathaniel Bern regain majority ownership as they partner with the investors for the next development stage, following Gsquare Capital's exit.

The transaction, expected to complete later in 2026, positions Medadom as a scalable leader in telehealth, combining medical excellence with accessible, technology-enabled care. Verdane's partner Moez Gharbi highlighted the company's "powerful flywheel" inherent to its digital and phygital approach, emphasizing its commitment to responsible healthcare delivery. This move signals growing European private equity interest in digital health solutions targeting underserved areas.

This investment underscores Verdane's strategic entry into the French healthcare tech market and Medadom's potential to scale its proven model, offering investors exposure to the expanding European telehealth sector.
