Vance Street Capital, founded in 2007, has appointed Jason Burmer as its new managing director and head of business development.

Burmer brings a strong background from Edgewater Capital Partners, where he led the business development function for seven years, driving sustained growth across successive funds. Prior to that, he served as associate director at HIG Capital in Los Angeles.

The appointment signals Vance Street’s intent to expand its deal pipeline and strengthen client relationships. Burmer’s track record in sourcing and executing private‑equity transactions is expected to accelerate the firm’s growth trajectory.
